Barranquilla, It is known as Colombia's Golden Gate, an Industrial, Portuary, and Special District, is a city and municipality located in northern Colombia. Capital of the Atlantico Department, it is the largest industrial city and port on the Colombian Caribbean Region and the fourth largest city of Colombia. It lies strategically by the delta of theMagdalena River, serving as port for fluvial and maritime transportation. It is also known as the craddle of Colombian aviation and as home to a very picturesque carnival.
Bogota
Bogota is the country’s capital, located at an elevation of about 2,650 m. / 8,660 ft. on a mountain rimmed plateau high in the Cordillera Oriental of the Andes Mountains. The city of Bogotá has a great variety of tourist places, with a combination of colonial buildings and skyscrapers. Some points of interest in the city include: La Candelaria zone, with several museums, cultural scenery and art exhibitions. La Plaza de Bolívar, surrounded by government buildings representing several styles and eras. Among the numerous churches are those of Santa Clara, San Francisco, San Ignacio, the Cathedral situated in La Plaza de Bolívar, La Tercera San Diego and the sanctuary of Monserrate.

Cali
Cali, Colombia's third-largest city, is noted more for its laid-back atmosphere and its Salsa scene than its tourist attractions. Santa Marta
Santa Marta, on Colombia's Caribbean coast, boasts a fine natural harbor and splendid views, but that's only part of the reason the Spaniards chose it for their first settlement. Their choice was influenced by gold. The local Tairona indigenous communities were known for their goldsmithing work. Some of their products, what didn't get shipped back to Spain via the new port of Santa Marta, is on view in Bogota, as part of the Treasures from the Museo del Oro. Now, the Tairona Heritage Studies Centre is devoted to the study of the indigenous groups which inhabit the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.
