Desafio Amazon Cruise

3 Nights / 4 Days

Day 1   Manaus – Amazon Cruising (D)

Leave from Manaus pier at 2:00pm to board the M/V Desafio, your floating hotel for the next three nights. After dinner enjoy a canoe excursion spotting night birds

Day 2   Amazon Cruising (B, L, D)

Start with a morning jungle excursion, and a chance to enjoy the local flora.  Return to the boat for a swim.  Visit a typical Caboclo village to observe the indigenous lifestyles of the local communities.  In the afternoon visit the surrounding lakes, followed by an evening trip of crocodile spotting.

Day 3   Amazon Cruising (B, L, D)

Take an early morning excursion to view the sunrise and hear the sounds of the forest, whilst observing thousands of birds, coming out of their nocturnal hiding places searching for food.  After breakfast enjoy a fishing expedition and catch one of the many hundreds of species found in the river, including the aggressive piranha.Sail to the Meeting of the Waters, where the black water of River Negro meets the brown water of the River Solimoes. Evening canoe ride along the streams in search of caiman and other nocturnal animals

Day 4   Amazon Cruising – Manaus (B)

After  breakfast see the giant  and  beautiful Amazonian water lilies  and then navigate back to Manaus arriving at 11am.
